About Zero Two
Zero Two or Code: 002 is the most distinguished fictional character from the renowned anime series Darling in the Franxx. The imaginary character is the man-made body that aspires to transform itself into a pilot and a functional human being. The character was designed by a team of passionate and determined members who claimed that though the process of designing every aspect of her character was a tiring and exhaustive job, once it was done, all agreed that she is the eye-catching character in the whole series. Well-known character designers Masayoshi Tanaka and Atsushi Nishigori team up to design Zero Two.
The crewmates disclosed that the most difficult part of shaping the character was to make a connection between the physical features of the character and the existence of the character. Zero Two is regarded as Partner Killer based on a ground reality that none of her co-pilot survived after going on a flight with her. Her infamous identity did not affect her much. Zero Two is not a fully developed human being, and it is a hybrid between Klaxo sapiens and humans. As a hybrid, she is the master of distinctive superhuman capabilities; for instance, she has more strength than a common person, her body could undergo regeneration and much more.
Zero Two has unusual characteristic features like possessing a pair of fangs and horns. Zero Two is depicted in the anime series as a young confident and determined lady who is curious to unveil the meaning and purpose of humanity and who is rebellious to the norms and principles of the government. She possessed dark blue blood in colour and skin that is shocking red. Teeth are sharper and pointed compared to the teeth of a human being. As a child, she got intrigued by the famous book ‘The Beast and the Prince’. She aspired to become a human being after meeting a leading character, Hiro.
