About Jujutsu Kaisen
Inspired by Akutami’s Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, Jujutsu Kaisen was broadcasted for the first time in March 2018. The Japanese manga is jotted down by Gege Akutami. The essence of the series is centred around a teenage boy Yuji Itadori who enrols himself in a personal establishment with the secret aim of assassinating Ryomen Sukuna. Shueisha dubs the Japanese series into the English language on the Manga Plus to make it available for English speakers. The storyline is centred around the concept of Cursed Energy which is continuously radiated from the body of living creatures. Once the cursed energy is lost, the creatures give birth to monsters called Curses.
Curses aim to obliterate the social order and peace, meanwhile giving rise to innumerable problems for humanity. Another central role is portrayed by Jujutsu Sorcerers who could conserve the Cursed Energy inside their body. The leading character of the series Yuji Itadori is a young student who is a resident of Sendai. At Sendai, Itadori lives in the house of his grandfather. In 2018, the grandfather of Itadori died, and before his demise, he advised Itadori to die with loved ones and friends standing along his side and to assist humanity in doing their tasks. After some time, Itadori concluded that the extract of the two pieces of advice given by the grandfather is that everyone must die properly.
Since then, he started his journey to find the Cursed monsters and kill them so that they would not be able to generate enormous problems for humanity. The adoption of the manga series into anime was declared officially by the illustrator and writer of the series in 2019. Tadashi Hiroshi had the honour of designing the characters of the anime series. Hiroshi Seko supervised the anime script, and the anime was broadcast under the production and direction of MAPPA and Sunghoo Park, respectively. The anime has been uploaded to Youtube, where millions of viewers from all over the World view the show!
