American film Spongebob Square Pants was aired in 2004. The adventures and comedy film was inspired by the work of Nickelodeon featured animation series with the same name. Spongebob Squarepants was produced and directed by Hollywood director Stephen Hillenburg. Mark Osborne is considered the director of action scenes in the movie. It is reported that the comedy movie amassed roughly 18 billion US dollars making it one of the most successful releases of Nickelodeon. The comedy movie is centered on an imaginary underground city known as Bikini Bottom. Bikini Bottom is an underground city that is rooted in the Pacific Ocean and is known to be supported by a coral reel known as Bikini Atoll.

Most citizens of the fictional city are kaleidoscopic fishes and other creatures, all of whom are known to have a residence in buildings that are constructed from ship funnels. One of the main characters of the movie Sandy lives in a distinctively designed glass known as Treedome. Apart from these places, the area is infested with many more unique destinations.

The leading character in the movie is portrayed by a yellow-colored sponge who lives in a partially submerged pineapple. Sponge Bob is depicted in the film as an energetic, enthusiastic, and optimistic sponge who stays happy and maintains a healthy relationship with the people surrounding him. The story is centered around his adventures with his friends and neighbors. The movie amassed applause from critics and the masses. The storyline and presentation of animated characters were acknowledged by the masses and critics.
