And the word Shiba means “Brushwood”. This name is possibly given to them from their coat which got the same color as the autumn brushwood. Shiba Inu is more like cats than they look like a dog. They are not dependent, and it is so difficult to train them.

They are fluffy which makes them cute, and people are in love with them on the internet. Officially this breed was introduced in the U.S.A in the 1950s and they were used as the pets. But the history, of these dogs are much longer in Japan. It is believed that the first Shiba Inu was brought to Japan about 9000 years ago. It was the WWII in which so much bombing cause the damage to this breed and make them vulnerable. But the Japanese restocked the bloodline and the new era of Modern Shiba has come in notice of people. This breed contains thick coats which makes them look and feel fluffy.

This breed is and ancient spitz. They tend to be so much stubborn, and they don’t choose their owner easily. Like people they will lets you know that when they don’t like anything. The interesting fact about them is that they are in multitude colors. Like the wolves they also got the howling vocalization which is kind of unique. Not like much breed this breed try to be clean. When they trust someone, they want full attention of them and love to play. Shiba Inu breed looks alike the fox. The old soul can be seen from their eyes when they stare at you because as the history of these dogs are very old.
