Pokemon is one the most celebrated video games of all time that was designed by a Japanese game designer Game Freak. The game was brought into the limelight via the efforts of The Pokemon Company and Nintendo. Both of these publication companies promoted the game all over the gaming world in the best way possible. Satoshi Tajiri is the man behind the basic concept of the game. He introduced his first game all over Japan in 1996 under the name Pocket Monsters Red and Green. The game captured the interest of the youth, and on public demand, it was released abroad under the name Pokemon Red and Blue.

The game starts with selecting Pokemon from three types – Fire Type, Water Type, and Grass Type. The most trending character from the video game series is Pikachu- Yellow Pokemon. Pikachu is a small mouse-like thing that is electrically operated. The competitor of the game is supposed to choose a Pokemon contrary to the Pokemon selected by the first player meaning that if the first player has chosen Fire Type Pokemon, then the opponent must opt for Water Type Pokemon that both types can fight. The upgraded version of the game Pokemon Go has become a worldwide sensation in a shorter period and has more than 1 billion views over social media platforms. Reports have disclosed that more than 300 million copies of the game were sold all over the world in 2017. In 2021, the figure reached 380 million.
