About Fortnite
Renowned game innovator company, Epic Games from South Carolina, introduced an online game called Fortnite in 2017. The game is exclusively modeled and designed by 44 years old American game director Darren Sugg. The widely known online game is accessible for gamers in three specific versions or modes: Fortnite Creative, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Fortnite: Save the World. The third module of the game- Fortnite Creative- was made available to the public in the last month of 2018. As the name infers, Fortnite Creative is all about creative skills. In the game, players are supposed to manipulate their creative skills to develop fortresses and fortifications.
Additionally, players are required to construct battle zones. Fortnite Battle Royale is a game in which about a hundred players compete with each other in a royal battle, and the man who is left standing, in the end, is pronounced as a clear-cut winner. Fortnite: Save the World is a game where about four players can play simultaneously. The players are supposed to protect their fortifications and defenses from zombies. The game gathered positive and encouraging responses from the public. Fortnite captivated more than 120 million players from seven different continents in the first few months. Game Critics Award jury members awarded Fortnite the title of Best Ongoing Game of 2018. Webby Awards awarded the game developers with the People’s Voice Award for Best Competitive Game. In 2018, it won Choice Videogame Award. Apart from the awards mentioned before, Fortnite has been nominated in many categories and has won many awards.
Reports have shown that the game earns more than a million dollars a month. Fortnite Battle Royale and Fortnite Creative can be accessed by gamers on their Android devices, IoS and Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, Fortnite: Save the World can be accessed on Windows, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. IGN selected Fortnite for being nominated as Best Spectator Game of 2017. One year later, Fortnite became the sole winner of the Best Ongoing Game title.
