ENHYPEN is a vocal band dominated by teenage boys and male singers from South Korea. The concept of the band came from Belift Lab. The seven contestants form the boy band from a South-Korean survival reality show I-Land (a reality show in which a bunch of almost 22 participants is to live in a particular area surrounded by green trees and compete with each other to move forward in the show). The South-Korean vocal band debuted in November 2020 with Border: Day One. The name of the South Korean brand is inspired by the symbol Hyphen, used in the English language to represent the connectivity and relationship between two or more words. The team members have stressed that, like hyphens, their main objective is to work in close harmony and come up with innovative ideas and creative work.

The name was first introduced in the Grand Finale of the first season of I- Land. The band has an official YouTube channel to upload the trailers of their upcoming projects. In November 2020, the crew members posted a premier of Choose-Chosen on their YouTube channel and received uncountable love from the audience. A few days later, the team members posted another video featuring the trailer of another video Dusk-Dawn. Even before broadcasting their first play, the South-Korean boy band has amassed the love and support of more than one million followers on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. The boy band made its official debut on KBS’ Music Band in December 2020. Oricon 2020 Yearly Album Chart assigned 39th position to Border: Day One.

Border: Day One is considered the most successful Korean play, with more than 300k copies sold out within 24 hours of its release. Korean Music Content Association provided platinum certification to Border: Day One in 2021, February. The next play of the vocal band was announced to be broadcasted in April 2021 with the title Border: Carnival. The South-Korean band has millions of followers on social media platforms, and all the members of the band are international celebrities with millions of proponents worldwide.
