The Japanese animation series Bleach is inspired by the manga of Tite Kubo with the same name. The Japanese animation series was directed and produced by Noriyuki Abe and Studio Pierrot. The television series based on 366 episodes were featured on Tokyo TV from 2004 to 2012 (October to March, respectively). Bleach was aired in the United States of America from September 2006 to November 2014 after Viz Media acquired exotic home video and television dispersion rights in March 2006. In the USA, the television series was aired on Adult Swim. The terminal part of the original manga is all set to be premiered in 2022 October under the title ‘Thousand-Year Blood War.’

The story follows the adventures of a teenage, school-going boy named Ichigo Kurosaki. Ichigo Kurosaki is a resident of a town called Karakura. Rukia Kuchiki is considered the original Soul Reaper in the series who could not perform her duties due to her brief involvement in the war with Hollow. Under these circumstances, the lead character of the series named Ichigo is responsible for acting as a part-time Soul Reaper. In the first hours, he refuses to accept the heavy-duty that comes with his assigned status, but then he starts enjoying his position. He learns that most people have unusual powers that can create wonders in a society. For example, Orihime Inoue has the power of keeping a bunch of protective spirits named Shun Shun Rikka, Uryu Ishida has an extraordinary power of manipulating spirit particles, etc.

After he learns about these powers, he decides to keep the power with him, and the story goes on. DVDs of the animation series were made available to the masses due to its extreme popularity, and it has successfully joined the top ten ranks of the animation series various times.
