Cyberpunk 2077 is a digital video game designed and developed by Polish video game publisher CD Projekt in December 2020. The gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 revolves around action and fights between multiple game characters. It is reported that more than 450 people came together to design the game using the game engine named REDEngine 4. Cyberpunk 2077 can be enjoyed using various mediums like Windows XP, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Stadia. The game amassed a positive response from critics for its unique style, design, and graphics. However, most of the critics did not acknowledge the concept of transgender, which was depicted in the game.

The leading character of the game is V. All the physical characteristics of V, like his get-up, make-up, hairstyle, and facial features can be altered by the players meaning that the leading character is customizable. Colored tiers can depict the scarcity of equipment or tool in the game. V has some distinct features, like he is capable of double jumping, sliding, running, and covering. The game covers the area of a region known as Night City. Night City comprises 6 distinct zones: luxurious Westbrook, gang-infested Pacifica, the corporate City Centre, industrial Santo Domingo, suburban Heywood, and Watson crowded with immigrants. Central character V can roam around these places freely in his vehicles.

The official announcement of the game was made in 2012. The first official trailer of the game was launched in January 2013. The game was published and distributed in Japan and China with some modifications and alterations. Cyberpunk 2077 is adapted to anime named Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Studio Trigger and Projekt Red produce the anime, and it is all set to be released in 2022 on Netflix. The game has received several awards for its unique gameplay and splendid graphics; for instance, it has been awarded The Best Game Award, Best PC Game Award, Best Xbox Game Award, Best Role-playing Game Award, and many more.
